The ideal candidate will have prior experience of client service and placing cyber insurance for a range of industries and sectors. Within the role you will have the responsibility of developing business, supporting WTW colleagues Internationally with their portfolio of clients and prospects, and working with direct insureds. In this role you will be accountable for retention, new business development, client strategy and placement.The person will be joining a very successful and dynamic team. We are seeking attributes in a candidate that will add value to this efficient and collaborative team.Brokingand ServicingDirectly handle large/complex placements in a lead broking rolePrepare client and prospect presentationsWork with other colleagues and stakeholders in determining appropriate strategy and solutions for structuring and pricing on each placementIdentify appropriate markets and determine placement strategy using cyber insurance placement acumen whilst adhering to BU’s protocolsCreate and grow relationships with underwriters in London and international marketsLead wording discussions with insurers and producing offices with the support of GB Cyber’s Coverage SpecialistsParticipate in information gathering exercisesContribute to the development of non-account-specific Cyber and TMT initiativesAssist in achieving the goals and objectives of the Cyber and TMT Insurance Practice and FINEX GB, and contribute to the goals and objectives of the Global Cyber Insurance PracticeSupport the overall operational governance and decision-making processOverseas travel as and when requiredEnsure adherence to WTW policies, procedures, and all regulatory requirementsClient Relationship ManagementUnderstand the clients’ business, objectives and risk management needs and look for solutions through the provision of ongoing serviceDevelop account service strategy for individual clients in line with Business Unit (BU) processDraw on expertise from specialist technical teams within the BU and across the Group for clients as requiredDetermine placement strategies to deliver suitable solutions, including price and structure, which meet each clients’ needsAccountability for client service and relationship development with producing offices, direct clients and other stakeholdersPlacement ManagementManage compliant processing of contracts as per FCA and contract certainty requirementsUnderstand, apply and where necessary explain the BU policies and proceduresAssist with loading of data into the relevant WTW systemsEnsure operational and service delivery in line with Group policiesSupport and deliver the end-to-end ongoing client serviceEnsure accurate budgeting, forecasting and tracking of revenueWork with senior colleagues in the development of service plans that define the engagement and timing of engagement with the clientManage KPIs/SLAs to ensure targets are met.Qualifications The RequirementsCompetenciesExtensive knowledge of Cyber insurancePreferably ACII qualified or working towards the ACII qualificationExperience in broking large/complex Cyber insuranceA focus on excellence and a track record of delivering high levels of client serviceAbility to analyse and provide concise conclusionsAbility to work both independently and as part of a wider teamBusiness and political awarenessExcellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective relationships, at all levels, with clients, prospects, associates, insurers, and external specialistsAbility to adapt personal style to work effectively with a wide range of clients, colleagues, and underwritersSkillsExcellent communication, negotiation and influencing skillsKnowledge of claims processes and proceduresAble to prioritise, manage deadlines and work under pressureComfortable explaining complex concepts and making recommendations to clients/client servicing teamsClear and compelling communication and presentation skills, written and verbalLanguage skills (advantageous but not essential)The Application ProcessStage 1:
