Description
- Assist in the full end-to-end payroll cycle using payroll software
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve payroll queries
- Verify and audit private mileage, overtime, and allowance claims
- Process payroll documentation such as P45s, P60s, and P11Ds, and support year-end activities
- Administer statutory payments (SMP, SSP, SPP) and manage pension contributions
- Manage deductions such as Attachment of Earnings orders
- Stay informed on changes in payroll legislation and ensure compliance
- Contribute to payroll-related projects and provide general administrative support
Profile
A successful Payroll Administrator should have:
- Previous experience in a similar payroll role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
