About the RoleReporting into the Procurement Director for the UK, the successful Senior Procurement Managerwill be responsible for delivery of Category Management policy and governance across the Tarmac business and supporting the wider CRH Procurement Category Management framework. You will be a procurement expert to deliver business objectives with responsibility for UK Logistics, Facilities, Estates and General Services.What you''ll be doingIn this role, you as the successfulSenior Procurement Manager will be carrying out the following duties and responsibilities (not exhaustive)Developing and implementing Category Management strategies and governance across TarmacProviding coaching and guidance to Category Managers and Assistant Category Managers for assigned categories totalling over 500m annualised spendDeveloping the Tarmac Fleet strategy for Cars and Vans and identifying key initiatives to deliver ongoing value whilst improving safety and ensuring legal complianceWorking closely with the Procurement Director, Category Managers and the business to determine sourcing needs, capturing synergy opportunities and leveraging the economies of scaleDeveloping and managing key supplier relationshipsDriving annual cost savings projects and other procurement benefitsDevelop a best-in-class expertise and global market knowledge for assigned categories.Building strong and effective relationships both with internal customers and external supply partnersSupporting and driving the ..... full job details .....
