Interim Learning and Development Lead (Support)Location: South Essex (multi-site) Contract: Interim (3 months initial, with potential extension)We are seeking an experienced Interim Learning and Development Lead to join a values-driven organisation during a period of transition. This role will provide both operational oversight and strategic support to ensure the continuity and improvement of learning, training, and workforce development activity.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day oversight of learning and development operations, ensuring training delivery runs smoothly and efficientlyImprove coordination, communication, and tracking of training activity and complianceSupport the development of a structured, organisation-wide training framework, including mandatory and role-specific learning pathwaysStrengthen systems, reporting, and visibility of training compliance and workforce developmentWork collaboratively with managers, HR, and senior stakeholders to identify learning needs and improve deliverySupport regulatory readiness and translate requirements into practical training solutionsReview and enhance processes, governance, and external training provisionDeliver clear recommendations and handover support to ensure continuity beyond the contractKey RequirementsProven experience leading or improving learning and development functions or training programmesStrong organisational and project coordination skillsExperience working in complex or fast-paced operational ..... full job details .....
