We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to join a high-performing design team delivering major rail and civil engineering projects across Scotland. This role is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of complex infrastructure projects, lead technical design, and mentor the next generation of engineers.Location:

£50,000 - £60,000 per yearKey Responsibilities

Lead design from feasibility through to detailed deliveryDevelop innovative, practical engineering solutionsManage projects, budgets, and timelines while ensuring qualityMentor and guide junior engineersRepresent design at project meetings and stakeholder discussionsRequirements

Proven experience as a Senior Design Engineer in rail, civil, or structural engineeringCivil Engineering degree + IEng/CEng accreditation (or working towards it)Hands-on experience with bridges, stations, platforms, and civil structuresStrong technical leadership and project delivery skillsWhat’s on Offer
