As an Intervention Mentor, you will work closely with students, teaching staff, and families to deliver targeted interventions designed to raise attainment, improve engagement, and support personal development. Based in Milton Keynes, you will play a key role in helping students build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver targeted interventions in areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
• Provide academic mentoring and personalised support to identified students.
• Monitor and track student progress against academic targets.
• Support students in developing self-esteem, resilience, and emotional regulation strategies.
• Work closely with teaching staff and parents to promote positive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to progress reviews and case studies.
• Monitor attendance and engagement of targeted students.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational, youth work, mentoring, or support capacity.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to motivate and engage students facing barriers to learning.
• A proactive and organised approach to monitoring progress and implementing interventions.
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to succeed both academically and personally.
