A global asset management firm is looking to add an Equity Analyst to their Global Small-Mid Cap Fund. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded team. The role will involve generating and researching fundamental investment ideas on Small and Mid-Cap companies in developed and emerging markets.Key responsibilities:Produce research on companies and generate fundamental investment ideas in Small and Mid cap spaceMonitor existing holdings in portfolioAnalyze ESG factors for incorporation into investment appraisalsDevelop financial models to forecast future financial performance and valuation analysisAttend company visits and industry conferencesThe successful candidate will have:3-5 years’ experience as an equity analyst on the buy-side or sell-sideIdeally broad sector knowledge with appreciation of the financial drivers of value across different sectorsWorking towards CFA qualificationExperience of handling meetings and questioning senior company management teamsA clear passion for investingTeam player who is adaptable and is also a proactive self-starterApply for this job#J-18808-Ljbffr
