Job Description:

• Support the class teacher in delivering aandnbsp;stimulating,andnbsp;play-based curriculumandnbsp;in line with theandnbsp;EYFS Framework
• Create aandnbsp;safe,andnbsp;nurturing, andandnbsp;inclusiveandnbsp;environment that encouragesandnbsp;exploration,andnbsp;independence, andandnbsp;early curiosity
• Assist withandnbsp;observations,andnbsp;record-keeping, andandnbsp;learning journeysandnbsp;to track progress and inform next steps
• Buildandnbsp;positive relationshipsandnbsp;with children, parents, and colleagues to support bothandnbsp;academic and emotional development
• Contribute to the wider school community throughandnbsp;creative activities,andnbsp;outdoor learning, andandnbsp;school events

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working in anandnbsp;EYFS settingandnbsp;(nursery or reception)
• Hold a relevantandnbsp;Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualificationandnbsp;(desirable but not essential)
• Be aandnbsp;patient,andnbsp;adaptable, andandnbsp;playfulandnbsp;practitioner with a strong understanding ofandnbsp;child development
• Demonstrate a commitment toandnbsp;inclusive education,andnbsp;safeguarding, andandnbsp;child wellbeing
• Possess excellentandnbsp;communication,andnbsp;teamwork, andandnbsp;organisationalandnbsp;skills
• Be passionate aboutandnbsp;early learning,andnbsp;continuous development, andandnbsp;making a difference from day one
