Finance, Benefits and Debt Adviser Manchester Up to £29,000 per annum Full-time, Temporary (until December) Job Description: We are recruiting a Finance, Benefits and Debt (FBD) Adviser to deliver high-quality support to economically inactive adults on the Progression towards Inclusive Employment (PtIE) programme. The role involves providing tailored guidance to help participants overcome financial barriers, manage personal finances, and access benefits or third-sector support, enabling them to move closer to employment. The role involves:Supporting participants to resolve financial challenges through one-to-one and group interventionsEstablishing debt and rent repayment plans and liaising with creditors, landlords and utility providersProviding personal budgeting advice and reflective spending guidanceAssisting participants with benefit claims and helping them understand responsibilities for maintaining claimsBuilding strong relationships and developing personalised action plansMaintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with contractual and data security standardsPromoting additional support options, such as food banks or credit unionsCollaborating with Keyworkers and escalating complex cases when requiredDelivering training or information sessions as neededYou ll need:Experience working with economically inactive individuals or vulnerable customer groupsStrong knowledge of the benefits system and issues surrounding debt managementExcellent communication skills ..... full job details .....
