Premises Assistant - Part-Time (Secondary School - SE4)
Location: SE4, South East London
Hours: 7:00am - 11:00am, Monday to Friday
Contract: Long-Term, Part-Time
Pay: -16 - -18 per hour (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

Remedy Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the SE4 area to recruit a reliable and proactive Premises Assistant. This is a part-time, long-term position with an immediate start, ideal for someone looking for morning-only hours in a school environment.

• Opening and securing the school premises daily

• Carrying out basic maintenance and general repairs

• Ensuring the school site remains clean, safe, and well-maintained

• Supporting the Site Manager with daily operational tasks

• Assisting with deliveries, room setups, and occasional porter duties

• Previous experience in a similar premises or caretaker role is desirable

• Good practical skills and a hands-on attitude

• Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures

• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently

• Must have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one

• Consistent part-time hours (mornings only)
