Fabric Engineer | Foot Mobile Zone 1 & 2

Are you a proactive maintenance professional who takes pride in keeping a building running smoothly? We are looking for a reliable Fabric Engineer to join the onsite facilities team on a foot mobile contract.

• Salary: -36,000 - -46,000

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

• Location: Zones 1 & 2 Travel card

• Contract: Full-time, Permanent

You will be the "go-to" person for all building fabric requirements. This is a hands-on role covering a variety of reactive tasks and planned preventative maintenance (PPM). Your responsibilities will include:

• Carpentry & Ironmongery: Adjusting door closures, fixing locks, and hanging doors.

• General Repairs: Replacing damaged ceiling tiles and flooring.

• Decoration: Patch plastering and touch-up painting to keep the site looking its best.

• Reactive Tasks: Responding quickly to various "handyman" requests from the client.

• Health & Safety: Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in compliance with site safety regulations.

• Experience: Previous experience as a Fabric Engineer or Handyperson in a commercial environment (hospitals, universities, or large corporate offices).

• NVQ in Carpentry, Plumbing or Painting ideal
