Experienced Office Administrator required for a busy client based in Berkhamsted, HP4.
My client are seeking a highly organsied and efficient administrator to ensure the smooth running of their busy office; supporting the team in day-to-day operations, service coordinating/work scheduling, providing excellent customer service and being the backbone of the team, somebody who can be relied upon at all times. Candidates will need to have proven administrative experience to be considered. We are ideally looking for an individual who has experience in an administrator or service coordinator or schedular position within the building/construction industry.
About the role:
- Handle incoming calls and emails in a professional and efficient manner
- Arranging and schedule appointments for colleagues
- Maintain records and documents, ensuring accuracy
- Perform general administrative tasks to support office operations
- Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist in clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication within the office
Hours & Pay:
- Salary around £30,000 - dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm
About you:
- Proven Office Administration experience is essential
- Experience in a Building or Construction office environment is highly advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Ability to work under your own initiative
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
