My client is on the lookout for a motivated, experienced Senior Structural Engineer, capable of leading a growing team of specialist colleagues in the structural design of commercial, industrial, health, leisure, retail, and residential projects near to Bradford and further afield.Benefits

Designing structures across the commercial, industrial, and residential sectorsLeading and delivering high-profile projects from initial inception through to successful deliveryBuilding, maintaining, and managing stakeholder relations within the public and private sectorsRepresenting the company at design team meetings and site visitsRequired skills and experience

Hold a Degree (or equivalent qualification/experience) in Civil and Structural Engineering (or a similar, relevant field)Possess Chartered Structural Engineer (MIStructE) status, or actively working to attain thisExtensive relevant, UK-based experience within a consultancy settingExperience of working with new-build projects, including good working knowledge of retaining wall and foundation designExcellent working knowledge of all structural materials, and their relevant applicationsProficiency in preparing calculation packages, assisting colleagues with thisDemonstrable competency in the use of AutoCAD, TEKLA, and TEDDSExtensive experience in the preparation of structural engineering inspection reports for a variety of building types and structuresGood understanding of the relevant technical standards, including EurocodesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience of liaising with a range of stakeholders across the public and private sectorsPossess a sound knowledge of construction methods, health and safety protocols, legal regulations, etc.Hold a full, valid UK driving licenceDesirable skills and experience

Previous experience in roads and sewer designGood working knowledge of Revit softwareApplication
