Job Description:We are seeking a Technical Assessor with experience in manufacturing coke oven products. The role involves providing expertise for UKAS assessments in Coke and Refinery sectors, playing a crucial part in ensuring robust evaluation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess manufacturing processes related to coke oven products, including coke, semi-coke, pitch, oven gas, and crude coal/tars.

Understand environmental impacts of coke and petroleum product manufacturing.

Evaluate production of motor fuels, refinery gases, and oil-based products for petrochemical and road construction industries.

Gain on-site understanding of carbonisation, distillation, mineral oil production, and coke oven processes.

Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and environmental legislation.

Qualifications:Degree in organic chemistry is preferred; extensive experience in the field will also be considered.
