This successful organisation is looking to recruit a highly skilled Acoustic Consultant to complement a team of noise specialists in their office based in Leeds and contribute to a challenging range of projects in both public and private sectors.Qualifications Preferably MSc/BSc in Acoustics/ Noise and Vibration AMIOA Experience Acoustic consultancy experience in the field of Environmental and/or Building Acoustics Technically competent and IT proficient Good communication and client liaison skills Extensive and detailed understanding of sound insulation testing Highly organised and IT literate Duties Measurement surveys and reportingProviding a solution in line with noise control and insulation Prediction and measurement of transportation noise Planning conditions - compliance and negotiation Noise Impact Assessments (including Environmental Impact Assessment) Liaise with consultants, engineers and architects Writing high quality reports Industrial and commercial noise control Consultation with Environmental Health Officers including advising on the appropriate use of planning conditions Undertake noise assessment site visits all over the UK Upon joining, you will benefit from one of the country''s leading training programs for research and development into acoustic materials ..... full job details .....
