About the Role: As Assistant Farm Manager, you ll work closely with the Farm Manager to ensure the smooth running of the site, focusing on high standards of welfare, quality, and efficiency. You ll help lead a team, maintain excellent farm conditions, and ensure that production targets are met. Key Responsibilities: Support the Farm Manager with daily operations and take charge during their absence Maintain high standards of animal welfare at all times Oversee feeding, lighting, heating, ventilation, and general stock care Motivate and guide farm staff to achieve production goals Manage contractors and ensure all work meets required standards Monitor and maintain site security, including alarms Keep the site clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety policies Attend training as required and complete any additional duties when needed What We re Looking For: Experience in livestock or poultry farming Strong understanding of stock ..... full job details .....
