The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bury area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C&E) to join the team on night.

Hours:

nights, 5 shifts a week across Monday to Sunday (drivers MUST have weekend availability)

Pay Rate:

Nights -17.31 PAYE

Location: Bury St. Edmunds IP32

Job Type: Permanent-

The role:

- Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

- Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.

- Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.

- Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

. Please note that new passes will be trained up on Class 2 first and then move onto Class 1.

Requirements:

- Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C&E).

- Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

- No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

- Full understanding of WTD legislation.

- Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.

- Excellent communication skills.

- A safety-first mindset.
