Futures recruitment are working with a well-established electrical engineering business to recruit an experienced Test Engineer to join their technical team. This is a hands-on role combining in-house testing with occasional site-based work.Role and Responsibilities: Perform detailed fault-finding, repair and troubleshooting activitiesComplete protection modifications in line with technical specificationsSupport on-site testing and commissioning activities when requiredEnsure all work complies with current electrical regulations and internal quality standardsCarry out in-house testing of marshalling enclosures, control panels, LV cabinets and associated control devicesAdhere to Health and Safety procedures and complete relevant risk assessmentsWork collaboratively with engineering and operations teamsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives The Ideal Candidate: Minimum 5 years testing experience within an electrical engineering environmentRelevant electrical qualificationsStrong knowledge of electrical regulations and industry standardsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings confidentlyClear understanding of Health and Safety responsibilitiesMethodical approach with strong attention to detailGood written and verbal communication skillsFlexible team player, willing to support other departments when requiredExperience working within a continuous improvement environment ..... full job details .....
