HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative

Manpower are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative to join a busy and well-established safety fencing depot based in Tormarton, Bristol.

This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of driving, yard work and outdoor physical duties. You will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day depot operation, ensuring equipment and materials are prepared, maintained and delivered safely.

The Role:

As a Class 2 Driver / Yard Operative, your duties will include:

• Completing local collections and deliveries using a Class 2 vehicle
• Carrying out general yard duties and maintenance
• Loading, unloading and checking stock deliveries
• Assisting with stock control and organisation of materials
• Operating plant and machinery safely (training provided where required)
• Ensuring the yard remains safe, secure and well maintained
• Completing paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
• Supporting the wider depot and site teams as required

What We''re Looking For:

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous yard or warehouse experience desirable
• Forklift or telehandler experience advantageous, but not essential
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good understanding of health & safety procedures
• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
