To provide new business support to the Sales team, developing winning presentations and proposals for sales opportunities, gathering product information from within the global business, and managing a central knowledge-base of service data.Specific TasksMonitoring and maintaining all bid/tender/contract portals/gateways for relevant opportunitiesTracking progress of all bids/RFPs both live and potentially upcomingPreparing and submitting responses to Expressions of Interest, PQQs and ITTsSummarising and identifying key requirements to enable the wider business to evaluate opportunities and make Bid/No Bid decisionsComposing compelling RFP responses and proposals, including writing new material, identifying and re-working pre-written content and engaging with subject matter expertsOwning the compilation and production of bids/RFPs with interaction from relevant sales and operations staffEnsuring that the company’s Bid/RFP processes are correctly followed and administeredEnsuring consistency across each bid/proposal – both in terms of the content and presentationEnsuring awareness of any new processes, functions, system developments, capabilities etc. within the business and using this appropriately within bid responsesCoordinating the commercial aspects with internal stakeholders to ensure pricing is submitted in the correct format and as agreed by the stakeholdersTracking and reporting on the progress of documents according to agreed deadlines and escalating any issues to the Bid Team ManagerMaintain a central library of bid contentGathering and updating corporate and product information to ensure that sales staff are equipped with up to date and relevant data to facilitate the sales processMaintain awareness of relevant market factors including legislation, innovation and technology development, industry trendsMaintain awareness of Social Value and CSR trends and their impact on procurement exercisesEscalating positive and negative feedback from tender/RFP outcomes to the Senior Management teamMaintaining cross-departmental relationships and raising profile of Bid Team functions to ensure continuous knowledge sharing within organisationAny other duties appropriate to the positionPerson SpecificationThe following range of experience, knowledge and skills are required:Minimum 2 years in a content/descriptive writing/admin roleA levels: A minimum of three higher level grade qualifications or aboveExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven prioritisation and time-management skillsProcess driven, highly organised with strong administration skills and attention to detailIndependent worker, with experience of managing own workloadFlexible approach to work in order to achieve demanding goals and meet both short and long term prioritiesCompetency in Microsoft OfficeExperience of end-to-end bid/RFP management from opportunity identification to submission and handover to Account Management/OperationsProven ability to:

support and inform all stakeholders, including Directors across the businessunderstand and define customer requirements from a variety of sourceswork and maintain focus in a fast paced, high pressure rolemultitask and be comfortable in a busy rolemaintain momentum for own work and across stakeholder groupbuild strong and credible professional working relationshipsnetwork with a range of stakeholders including: directors and senior managers, sales team, operations, accounts and other departmentsunderstand the possibilities and make use of AI
