Senior Accountant / Client Manager A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a motivated accountant to join a progressive and supportive team in Birmingham as a Senior Accountant / Client Manager. Key Responsibilities Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts across a varied portfolio. Oversee statutory accounts, corporation tax, and personal tax compliance. Prepare advisory and technical documentation for senior review. Act as the main point of contact for clients, managing deadlines and queries efficiently. Support Managers and Directors on client workflow, including Accounts, Tax, Payroll, and VAT. Develop a thorough understanding of clients'' business operations to deliver commercially sound advice. Guide clients on best practices in system setup, controls, and software use. Mentor junior team members and contribute to staff training and development. Identify areas to streamline internal processes for greater efficiency. Skills and Experience ACA / ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience with strong technical grounding. Minimum of two years'' post-qualified practice experience. Proficient with MS Office and Xero; experience with Iris or Sage is beneficial. Confident communicator with excellent analytical and problem-solving ability. Skilled in managing teams and fostering professional growth.
