to recruit a

Retail Construction Manager . This is a permanent role based in

London, England .The

Retail Construction Manager

will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of new store openings. From feasibility studies through to project handover, the successful candidate will oversee multiple retail construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. This role will involve extensive collaboration with internal teams, landlords, contractors, and external partners, making it ideal for a commercially minded construction professional with excellent stakeholder management skills.Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project delivery for new store openings across Europe, from initial feasibility to successful handover.Oversee multiple projects at varying stages, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.Conduct regular site visits, lead site meetings, and oversee defect inspections.Prepare, monitor, and present project budgets for approval, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.Lead tender processes, comparing bids to secure competitive pricing and high-quality outcomes.Build strong relationships with landlords, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders (including Finance and HQ Construction teams).Ensure projects are executed in line with brand standards, technical specifications, and European building codes.Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and variances to senior management.Travel frequently across Europe to supervise projects and maintain oversight of delivery.What We''re Looking For

5+ years’ experience in construction management, ideally within the retail or FandB sector.Strong track record of managing multi-site projects across European markets.Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, design principles, and building regulations.Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.Proven ability to work under pressure and deliver projects within strict deadlines.Analytical, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset.Flexibility to travel extensively across Europe.Proficiency in CAD or project management software.Professional certifications (e.g., PMP or equivalent).Fluency in English, with additional European languages an advantage.Why Join
