Our client, an expanding consultancy in the defence sector, is seeking a talented and motivated eDV Solutions Architect. This permanent role involves working closely with government clients across Cyber Security, National Security, Law Enforcement, and Telecommunications to develop innovative solutions. As a Solution Architect, you will design, develop and implement solutions that meet specialised requirements while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibilityFacilitate workshops and meetings such as risk analysis, technical design workshops, and requirements elicitationDesign and plan the lifecycle approach for complex projects and programmesTrain and advise clients in Solutions Architecture best practicesOrganise and coordinate technical resources and third parties/vendors for effective delivery of projectsDeliver and manage high quality Solution Architecture documentationPrepare presentations and reports for senior managementBuild and maintain strong relations with clients and key stakeholdersAnalyse, manage, mitigate, and treat risks to reduce impact on projectsBuild and maintain relationships with third parties/vendorsProvide expert input to bids and proposals, scoping future workProvide technical leadership and guidance to colleagues and clientsJob Requirements:DV ClearanceDegree level educated, or significant relevant experienceExperience working as an engineer within IT, infrastructure, networking, systems or related fieldsExperience working in a consultancy, systems integrator or public sector organisationExperience desirable in defence, public sector, national security or law enforcement organisationsUnderstanding of common tools, standards, and methodologies for delivering systems and solutions (e.g., CI/CD, agile development)Excellent client-facing and internal communication skillsOutstanding organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-taskingStrong written and verbal communication skillsOpportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly growing organisationProfessional development and growth opportunitiesCollaborative and innovative work environmentRecognition and respect within the companyLocation:Sharemanages this roleMatchtech is a STEM Recruitment Specialist, with over 40 years experience#J-18808-Ljbffr
