We are a warm and welcoming mainstream primary school looking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Teaching Assistant to support our dedicated teaching staff and wonderful pupils.

About the Role:

Working across our EYFS, Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2 classes, you will support teachers in creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support pupils'' learning in the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher
• Provide one-to-one or small group support, including early literacy and numeracy skills
• Assist with setting up and tidying classroom activities and resources
• Help manage behaviour in a positive and consistent manner
• Support the social and emotional wellbeing of children
• Supervise children during playtimes and lunchtimes when needed

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Enjoys working with young children and understands their developmental needs
• Has strong communication skills and a nurturing, positive approach
• Can use their initiative and work well as part of a team
• Holds a minimum of GCSE Grade C/4 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
• Has previous experience working in a primary school or with children (desirable but not essential)
