Supplier Quality Engineer | Oxford | £50,000pa - £58,000pa:
 
A leading manufacturer based in the Oxford area is looking to recruit a Supplier Quality Engineer with a background in either Motorsport or Aerospace. The Supplier Quality Engineer will be collaborating closely with suppliers, procurement, and production teams to resolve Supplier quality issues and ensure that materials meet the required specifications.
 
On a day to back the Supplier Quality Engineer will be coordinating with suppliers to support the Supplier Quality Manager with new product introductions using production part approval process and carrying out investigations of non-conformance resolutions using Supplier corrective action reports. Additionally, the Supplier Quality Engineer works with the production departments to ensure compliance of finished products and goods through supplier quality activities.
 
The Supplier Quality Engineer will ideally have the following skills and attributes:

• HNC in Quality engineering or time served as a Supplier Quality Engineer
• Minimum of 2 years of experience from a similar role with a regulated manufacturer, preferably within aerospace, automotive or medical
• Experience with supplier management processes, process control & document control.
• Conducting 3rd party audits
• Motivated problem solver with the ability to work independently.
• Good communicator and team player.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Sound computer literacy - proficiency with office 365, excel and data analysis
• Knowledge of quality tools & Methodologies (FMEA, SCARS, Problem solving skills, Handheld measuring equipment)
• Able to read Technical Drawings & Specifications
• This role requires the person to be flexible due to the nature of the role & willing to travel
