Job DescriptionCK Group is recruiting for an experienced and dynamic Scientist, at either Senior or Principal level, to join an early-stage biotechnology start-up based in Oxford on a permanent basis.The Company:

Our client is an early-stage biotechnology start-up combining artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced high-throughput TCR screening techniques to revolutionise the treatment of solid cancers.Location:

Oxford.The Role:

To lead the in vivo and in vitro validation of T-cell engagers, and help drive the development of TCR engineering and processes.Responsibilities:

Perform high-throughput TCR display methods by purifying recombinant TCRs.Carry out protein characterisation (expression, purification, and biophysical analysis).Design and characterise TCRs for disease targets.Oversee lab protocols and technical documents.Be hands-on in the lab and manage tissue culture preparations.Skills:

Skills in data analysis (using software R) for Next Gen Sequencing analysis are desirable.Your Background:

PhD qualified in biochemistry, immunology, or cell biology, with strong laboratory experience (academia and industry).Experience in in vivo and in vitro validation of T-cell engagers (TCEs).Experience with Investigational New Drug (IND) enabling/approval is ESSENTIAL.Expertise in cell and immunological assays (flow cytometry, ELISA) with knowledge of cloning and PCR.Strong background in protein and biophysical characterisation.Benefits:
