Electrical Testing Engineer
Luton
£40,000 - £45,000 plus overtime and call-out rota (one week on call every -8 weeks).
Permanent - full time
 
We''re looking for a skilled Electrical Testing Engineer to join our family run business to be based in the Luton area. If you''re passionate about electrical safety and enjoy working in a supportive team environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), EML, Thermographic Testing
• Performing minor electrical works as required
• Participating in our out-of-hours call-out rota

 
Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical testing and inspection
• Strong understanding of EICR standards and procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Willingness to be part of an out-of-hours support team
• Full / Clean driving licence

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Electricity and Electrical Work
• Experience in Maintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles and practices
• Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and electrical standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Relevant certifications such as an electrician license
• Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work is a plus
