Yard Assistant

Location: Cambuslang, Glasgow
Pay: -12.45 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 6am till 2pm

We are hiring a Yard Assistant to join a busy and dynamic factory team in Glasgow.

What You''ll Be Doing

You''ll be working outdoors taking responsibility for the yard area of a busy construction manufacturing business. Key duties will include:

• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Keeping the yard clean, organised and free from hazards
• Perform general upkeep such as sweeping, clearing debris and maintaining a safe area
• Gathering packaging materials returned from site removing any non-recyclable material
• Safely operate the compactor to compress recyclable materials ensuring correct loading procedures utilised
• General yard duties as required

• Experience working in a yard or recycling plant OR transferable skill from another environment
