Job Title: Service Engineer Department: Service Division Overview: We are seeking a skilled and flexible Service Engineer to join our Service Division. This role involves the repair, servicing, and installation of automatic door systems and access control technologies across a wide range of clients in both the public and private sectors. Key Responsibilities: Repair, service, and install automatic doors and access control systems to a high professional standard. Attend client callouts and respond to service requests as required, with a flexible approach to working hours and location. Assess and recommend necessary repairs or system upgrades and communicate requirements to the office team. Participate in an on-call rota to provide out-of-hours service coverage. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company procedures and safety regulations. Maintain a professional appearance, wearing uniform and appropriate PPE at all times. Essential Requirements: Previous experience as a Service or Installation Engineer. Working knowledge of various manufacturers'' automatic door and access control products. Competency in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of relevant systems. Basic understanding of access control equipment (training will be provided). Strong communication skills with a professional approach when dealing with clients. Basic IT proficiency for system updates and reporting. Full clean UK driving licence. Applicants with a background as time-served Electricians, Security Installation Engineers, Lift Engineers, etc., will be considered - full training provided. Desirable Requirements: Possession of a current and relevant CSR Card.
