CNC Turner
-40,000 -19.72 per hour + overtime at 1.5, Bonus, permanent, Bristol BS2, 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, early finish Friday, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension, sick scheme.

Our client is a successful and established precision engineering company with a small but friendly team of engineers looking for a cnc turner operating an xyz lathe.

The cnc turner role will see you carrying out the following duties:

• cnc machining of parts
• Programming on an xyz turning machine
• Turning of larger parts
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings to produce parts
• You will manage your own workload with jobs allocated from the engineering supervisor.
• This role will allow you to get on with your work unsupervised with your allocated jobs

The cnc turner is likely to have:

• Served an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled machinist, however candidates who are time served in machining could also be suitable if they can demonstrate a suitable track record in machining.

• Suitable will have a history of working in precision engineering producing small batches and one offs to fine tolerances.

The cnc turner role is working for a friendly, well-established company who are a specialist in their field of engineering and would suit an engineer looking for a role allowing you to get on with your own work with minimum supervision.
