The organisation is a leading Principal Contractor, delivering some of the Uks most recognised and complex developments. They have an excellent track record in health and safety performance, and this role is critical in ensuring those standards are not only maintained but continually enhanced. The Health and Safety Lead will be responsible for: Planning and embedding health and safety throughout the full lifecycle of the development, identifying upcoming challenges and ensuring robust solutions are in placeMaintaining a strong site presence, supporting, advising and coaching contractors to enable the effective delivery of the health and safety strategyLeading and developing a Health and Safety teamManaging incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measuresProactively identifying opportunities for improvement and sharing best practice across the wider organisation The successful Health and Safety Lead will have: Proven leadership experience in a similar role within construction, civil engineering or a related sectorA strong track record of influencing, engaging and coaching both senior leadership and site-based teamsIdeally a Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)Experience ..... full job details .....
