You will ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment through effective fault diagnosis, repairs, and preventative maintenance.This role is crucial to minimising downtime, improving reliability, and ensuring the safety of people and processes. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance and Repairs Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance.Fit new parts, overhaul components, and arrange replacements.Maintain accurate maintenance records and report issues. Performance and Reliability Work towards site and departmental KPIs.Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote best practice.Monitor equipment trends to prevent recurring faults. Safety and Compliance Follow all safe working practices and relevant legislation.Use hand tools, measuring equipment, and specialist instruments correctly.Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times. Collaboration Liaise with internal departments and external contractors.Keep production teams informed of maintenance progress.
