Here at Antac we are going through a large amount of growth especially within the MOD Housing area of our business. Operating within a defined area of responsibility, this position ensures that all projects under our MoD Housing Department are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The role demands technical competence, independent decision-making, and clear communication skills to provide expert guidance and effective support to our client and delivery teams. This is a brand new role where the scope is able to grow and develop depending on the person that joins us.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the management of multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from £500K to £2.5m within our Mod Housing Department.Direct Management of Project Managers and Project teams, proactively embedding a culture of safe working and continuous improvement across project delivery.Prepare and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost control and value optimisation.Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with UK construction laws, regulations, and standards.Ensure all projects adhere to Health and Safety policies and Environmental regulations.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure alignment on project goals, expectations, and deliverables. Provide progress reports, addressing any issues or challenges promptly.Oversee Supply Chain ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

Experience required:

You will need to have experience in managing large NEC projectsA background in managing MoD Housing contractsStrong knowledge of construction methods, project management principles, and UK building regulations.Demonstrable experience in managing Health and Safety processesHandS Certification requirements: NEBOSH and or equivalentExcellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.Strong leadership and team management abilities.Outstanding communication skills.
