Our world leading client are looking for a Cad Design Engineer on a long-term rolling contract. Working week is Monday to Friday 37.5 hrs a week. As a CAD Design Engineer, you will be: Provide 3D modelling, CAD and Engineering Design skills and knowledge to the Project Engineering team. Involvement in continuous improvement projects across the site Develop concepts into detailed designs on a broad range of manufacturing equipment. Upkeep of the site drawing database Supporting engineering projects through application of robust design methodologies to ensure achievement of project targets of time, cost, and performance. Supporting manufacturing operations with development of design concepts to solve manufacturing issues, including, plant layouts, machine modifications and new component design, PandID s Creating and maintaining CAD models, drawings and associated documentation Drawing data repository maintenance As part of the engineering team, you will support the safe operation of the site, including the use of industry standard risk assessment techniques, ensuring safe system of work. As a CAD Engineer you will have: Recognised Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent Experience in industrial machine design and specification of process equipment CAD engineering experience in a manufacturing or process environment Development of PandID s, mechanical component designs, shop floor layouts, site services and utility plans AUTOCAD Inventor CAD experience desirable AUTOCAD ..... full job details .....
