Senior Young People Support Worker We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead and support a team helping young people in Sutton build safe and independent futures.Position: Senior Young People Support WorkerLocation: SuttonSalary: £31,203 per annum (including London Weighting) plus pension and benefitsHours: 37.5 hours per weekContract: 12 month fixed term contractClosing Date: Tuesday 21st October 2025About the RoleThis role involves leading a small team that supports young people in Sutton who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You ll oversee service delivery, ensuring high-quality support, safe accommodation, and opportunities that help young people move towards independence.Key responsibilities:Manage, support and develop a small team of Support Workers and volunteersOversee case management, risk assessments and support plansDeliver direct support to young people, both one-to-one and in groupsWork collaboratively with local agencies and partners to achieve positive outcomesEnsure services meet safeguarding, safety and contractual standardsManage financial processes including rent and petty cashOversee property maintenance and ensure a safe environment for residents and staffPromote participation and client involvement in shaping servicesAbout YouYou ll be a proactive, organised and compassionate leader with a genuine desire to make a difference.
