Claims Handler CH1
The claims handler will be responsible for managing a caseload of Public / Employers Liability claims up to a reserve value of £10,000. This includes personal injury, product liability and property damage. The handler will manage the claim from inception to settlement pre litigation.Key AccountabilitiesTo pro-actively manage a caseload of Public Liability and Employers Liability and Property Damage Maintain accurate data on relevant case management systemComply with set client SLA''sTo attend client review meetings and assist with client project work where applicableUndertake appropriate additional tasks provided by the team leaderEnsure quality service standards and productivity levels are maintained to a high standardReport to Team Leader/Claims Unit Service Manager undertaking appropriate additional tasks Allocate new claims as and when requiredCarry out supervisory tasks appropriate to level and as per management instructionsExperience, Skills and Qualifications• 6 months relevant experience • Excellent attention to detail• Negotiation skills• Strong communication skills• Organisational skills• The ability to work as a team and independently• The ability to manage own workloadBenefitsDavies Incentive Plan25 days holiday per year which increases with level of service (opportunity to buy and sell 3 days)Simply Health Care Cash PlanWeCare - 24/7 online GP, mental health support and virtual wellbeing covering a whole host of topics to do with health, mental health, wellbeing ..... full job details .....
