SF Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing group to recruit a Management Accountant for a key role within their finance function. This position will take responsibility for producing management accounts across four group companies and will act as a key link between the general ledger and the Group Financial Controller. This role would suit either a strong part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking for a hands-on, office-based position with clear ownership and exposure to group finance. The role includes: Preparation of monthly management accounts for four group entitiesOwnership of month-end from general ledger through to final reportingActing as the bridge between transactional finance and group-level reportingBalance sheet reconciliations and reviewVariance analysis with clear, concise commentarySupporting budgeting and forecasting processesEnsuring consistent reporting and controls across the groupAssisting with year-end and audit requirements The ideal candidate: Be part-qualified or newly qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)Have experience producing management accountsBe confident working with the general ledger and month-end processesIdeally have experience in manufacturing or a multi-entity environmentHave strong Excel skills and experience using ERP systemsBe comfortable working with senior finance stakeholders Further Information:Study support available if requiredHigh-visibility position with direct access to the Group Financial Controller ..... full job details .....
