Party Wall Surveyor

THE ROLE
You''ll be working directly alongside senior colleagues and directors, managing and leading matters with a high level of independence and responsibility. You''ll be advising clients on notifiable works, preparing notices and awards, carrying out site inspections, mentoring junior team members, and engaging with a wide array of neighbourly matters including oversail and access agreements.
Key Responsibilities for the Part Wall Surveyor:
- Lead/ assist with day-to-day Party Wall matters from instruction to resolution
- Conduct inspections and surveys related to Party Wall and associated neighbourly issues
- Draft notices, schedules of condition, awards, reports, and assessments
- Review proposals and identify necessary notifications
- Advise clients clearly and confidently, maintaining exceptional service standards
- Mentor and guide trainee and graduate surveyors
- Collaborate on team development and deliver CPD content when needed
Requirements the Party Wall Surveyor should have:
- Minimum 3 years'' relevant experience in Party Wall matters
- Membership of a recognised body such as P&T Society, FPWS, or RICS would be ideal.
- Strong working knowledge of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both verbal and written
- Proven ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
- A strong sense of professional responsibility, accuracy, and customer focus
- A passion for progressing your technical expertise and industry standing
