Position: Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Castle Donnington - 3 Days On siteContract: Outside IR35Type: Full-Time The RoleThis is a contract role expected to last between 6 - 12 months with the successful candidate will be designing a range of fabrications and static components used in turbomachinery applications. Key Responsibilities:Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using Siemens NX.Generate engineering drawingsPerform engineering design calculations eg Perform tolerance stack-up analysis , bolted joint.Preparation of engineering design reportsEngage with suppliers and lead design for manufacturing activitiesEnsure designs meet industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. Required qualifications and experience:Bachelor''s degree in Engineering.Experience designing castings, machined parts and fabrications.Experience using BS8888 and/or ASME Y14.5Proficiency in NX software is essential.Strong skills in mechanical calculations.Experience designing turbomachinery static components, casings, piping and structures would be helpful but not essential.Experience using Teamcenter, or similar PLM systems.Good communication skills with the ability to work in a small team as a self-starter This vacancy is being advertised by ..... full job details .....
