Our Glasgow-based client is looking to add an Insurance and Contracts Business Partner to their team. As an Insurance and Contracts Business Partner, you will support the day-to-day functions in the service provision of Contracting, Insurance, and Corporate Risk Management.THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.Experience working with the commercial aspects of a service organization.Knowledge of contracting, insurance, and general business compliance practices.Good commercial acumen and analytical skills.Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Independent thinking and responsiveness to business needs.Strong planning and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Positive attitude with a focus on company success.Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Confidence to communicate openly with all management levels.Ability to produce clear and concise reports.Proficiency with MS Office tools.JOB DESCRIPTION

Drafting ship management agreements and related contracts.Reviewing business-related contracts for all group companies.Identifying compliance requirements and insurable risks, with annual reviews.Monitoring the Contract Management system and supporting business units in compliance.Managing contract disputes.Ensuring compliance with international sanctions policies.Monitoring corporate risk exposures and maintaining risk registers and reports.Serving as the company insurance and legal contact when necessary.Managing insurance and claims reporting for ship owners.Maintaining records of insurance incidents and claims analysis.Reviewing insurable benefits in seafarers’ employment contracts.Maintaining up-to-date records of insurance certificates.Supporting risk register management and reporting.Supporting the Casualty Response Team as needed.REMUNERATION PACKAGE
