The Project Manager will lead on the delivery of planned and reactive project work across the UU region and develop key relationships with UU operational personnel, supply chain partners and promote a team spirit environment. The role will require experience of both design and delivery of water projects with the successful individual likely responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of smaller projects Key aspects of the role include: Leadership and development of multidisciplinary teamsProvide whole life oversight and accountability for the successful completion of maintenance projects and services, through design, procurement, assembly, commissioning, and handoverEnsure supply chain remain compliant with the framework management planProvide Leadership to create a safety culture to ensure Zero LTI and RIDDOR IncidentsEnsure a commercial focus with a high level of challenge on project scope and choosing efficient delivery strategiesEnsure all stakeholders within MSP and United Utilities are engaged at strategic and operational levels and supportive of the projects and services and their potential impactsEnsure consistent and reliable reporting of project/services performance into the MSP systemsEnsure key project and programme risks are identified early, and mitigated where possible Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Previous experience of managing multidisciplinary projects including Civils and MEICA (preferably in the water sector)Strong track record of delivery of ..... full job details .....
