If you have any mechanical engineering experience, we''d love to hear from you.A well-established manufacturer is expanding its team in anticipation of a significant rise in production later this summer.The role offers a starting pay of around 13.50 per hour, with flexibility depending on experience. There will also be opportunities for pay reviews following a successful probation period. Assembly Operative duties: - Operating various hand / power tools to assemble mechanical parts and components.Machining as and when required Ability to read and work from engineering drawingsAlways maintain a clean and tidy work environmentEnsure the company''s health and safety procedures are always adhered to Previous product experience is desirable but not essential. We will consider any applicants who have basic knowledge of assembly or mechanics. You must be a competent user of hand and power tools and be able to read from technical drawings independently. Hours are Monday - Friday, 06:30-15:00. Overtime available at increased rates of pay. This is a permanent role subject to a successful 3-month probation period.
