Job Description:

• Deliver aandnbsp;broad and stimulating PE curriculumandnbsp;acrossandnbsp;Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for KS5
• Encourageandnbsp;fitness,andnbsp;team spirit, andandnbsp;mental resilienceandnbsp;through a variety of sports and physical activities
• Lead onandnbsp;school fixtures,andnbsp;sports events, andandnbsp;after-school clubs
• Promote aandnbsp;positive and inclusive sporting cultureandnbsp;that celebrates effort and achievement
• Work collaboratively with staff to supportandnbsp;whole-school initiativesandnbsp;andandnbsp;cross-curricular projects
• Ensure all pupils, including those with SEND, areandnbsp;engaged, supported, and challenged

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Has experience teaching PE in aandnbsp;secondary school environmentandnbsp;(preferred but not essential)
• Is aandnbsp;motivational team playerandnbsp;with excellentandnbsp;classroom managementandnbsp;andandnbsp;communication skills
• Understandsandnbsp;teen development,andnbsp;safeguarding protocols, andandnbsp;inclusive teaching strategies
• Is enthusiastic aboutandnbsp;physical education,andnbsp;wellbeing, and helping students reach theirandnbsp;personal best
