This role will focus heavily on credit control and chasing outstanding payments, so previous experience in a finance support, sales ledger, or credit control environment is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to liaise with clients to resolve outstanding invoices. Candidates should be within a commutable distance to Wokingham. Job PurposeThe Accounts Assistant - Sales Ledger is responsible for managing all aspects of the invoicing process. This includes issuing invoices, ensuring accuracy of invoicing records, maintaining customer accounts, handling invoicing inquiries, and supporting the finance team to ensure smooth financial operations. Key ResponsibilitiesInvoice GenerationPrepare and issue accurate and timely invoices to customersEnsure invoices reflect correct terms, pricing, discounts, and adjustmentsCollaborate with sales teams to ensure all billable items are capturedInvoicing Records ManagementMaintain and update the invoicing system with accurate transaction recordsEnsure proper documentation and filing of all invoices and related correspondenceSupport audit and reporting requirements as neededCustomer Account ManagementMaintain up-to-date ..... full job details .....
