We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and diligent individual to join the highly valued IT Support team in Cambridgshire.
This position will be full-time for the first three months, but most likely for longer. The normal working hours will be from 8.00 am to 4.00 pm, and you must be available five days a week.

Responsibilities
To provide support to all system users and peripheral hardware including installing, repairing, and maintaining equipment and software, including student laptops
To maintain a complete and accurate asset record of all equipment
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including installing basic software packages and setting common options
To keep the helpdesk up to date and ensure issues are resolved quickly and urgent tasks are prioritised
Supporting, configuring and installing Teams IP phones and liaising with facilities regarding future telephone system upgrades
To work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and pupils with any hardware or software issues, via email, phone and in person
Identifying IT service improvements and installing laptops/computer as needed
Identify possible ICT requirements and develop outline specifications for solutions
To maintain and develop the school''s ICT resources for safe, effective use by pupils and staff
Qualifications
Prior experience in IT support or a relevant field is required, ideally within a school and/or the education sector
Eligibility to work in the UK (essential)
DBS on a update service is a must or willingness to get a new one
Provide specific references
Ability to understand the customer perspective and work collaboratively with pupils, teachers and parents
Problem-solving skills to find innovative solutions to IT problems
The ability to work as part of a team and be proactive
Proven record of maintaining efficient IT systems ideally in a school setting
High level of team, interpersonal and communication skills
A logical, calm, organised approach to problem solving
The ability to manage time effectively, multitasking and working to tight deadlines
A high level of initiative, enthusiasm and willingness to work in a collaborative manner
