As a PMLD Teacher, you will deliver bespoke learning programmes tailored to meet the unique needs of each student. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the educational, emotional, and physical development of learners, enabling them to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities of a PMLD Teacher:Plan and deliver highly personalised lessons, incorporating sensory and therapeutic approaches.Use a range of communication methods, including Makaton, PECS, or AAC, to engage and support students.Monitor and assess progress, maintaining detailed records and adjusting plans to meet individual needs.Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to provide a holistic approach to education.Promote independence, life skills, and self-confidence in students.
