Quality Inspector

Location: Esher, Surrey
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (negotiable, dependant on experience)

Company Profile
A highly regarded manufacturer of precision machined parts and components, who consistently deliver high quality machined products to its customers operating in some of today's most technically challenging markets, is looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join their Quality Inspection department, working with both Manual and CMM equipment.
The company offers excellent working conditions along with an interesting and varied workload.

Duties:

• Manual inspection of highly precision machined parts and components using various equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers and Gauges.
• CMM Inspection, working with an Aberlink CMM (will consider other CMM experience such as PC-DMIS or Mitutoyo).
• Active involvement with the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

Skills & Attributes:

• A strong Quality Inspection background (previous experience of working in a Precision Engineering environment is essential).
• Experience in CMM inspection is a must (ideally with Aberlink but will consider other CMM experience such as PC-DMIS or Mitutoyo).
• Be fully competent in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Experience inspecting to tight tolerances.
• PPAP knowledge and experience is highly desirable.

Hours of Work:

• 39hrs per week
• £16.00 - £20.00 p/hr
• 8am to 5pm Mon – Thu, 8am to 1pm Fri
• OT available at 1.5x after 39 hours
