OverviewSocial, Emotional, Mental Health Assistant | Lewisham | Specialist SEMH School

EdEx are exclusively working with a leading specialist SEMH secondary school in Lewisham who are looking to find 3 Behaviour Mentors (SEMH) for September 2025 starts. This is a rare opportunity to join a close-knit specialist SEMH / Mental Health school for young people who require specialist SEMH support within a small school setting.

This is a September 2025 start position, Monday - Friday, school hours (8:30am - 4:00pm). The daily rate for this role is between £110 - £120 per day experience dependant.

Role details

Location: Lewisham

School: Specialist SEMH School – 65 pupils aged 10-18 years

Curriculum: Wide-ranging (including Music, Sports, Arts and more)

Offering ongoing training and CPD, with support from specialist SEMH teachers and staff

Role specifics

Working days: Monday to Friday (no weekends)

School hours: typically 8:30am – 4:00pm

Salary: £110 – £120 per day, paid weekly (Term Time Only)

Start: September 2025 – multiple vacancies

Contract: Long-term (at least full academic year: Sept 2025 – July 2026) with scope for permanence from Sept 2026
