SEND Teaching Assistant - Retford

Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

Academics Ltd is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils in mainstream primary schools across Retford, Nottinghamshire.

This is a temporary, part-time, term-time only role with an immediate start.

• Support teachers in delivering Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
• Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
• Support students'' social and emotional development
• Monitor and record student progress

• Experience working with SEND pupils
• Relevant NVQ or Cache Level 2 or 3 TA/SEND qualification (preferred)
• A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to commute across Retford
• Have or be willing to process an Enhanced DBS Certificate
