This role is designed to support Relationship Managers and the Associate Director with independent credit assessments, portfolio management, and first-line risk controls.This is an excellent opportunity for a credit professional with strong analytical capabilities, sector insight, and financial acumen to work closely with business development teams while contributing directly to risk mitigation and profitability.Key Responsibilities:Conduct independent credit assessments for new and existing corporate clients, including in-depth analysis of financial statements, industry risks, and credit structuring.Draft and present credit proposals, identifying key risks and proposing mitigations in line with policy.Monitor and report on credit exposures, portfolio concentrations, and covenant compliance.Liaise with second-line risk teams to ensure risk alignment and robust credit structuring.Support Relationship Managers with periodic reviews, renewals, and excess monitoring.Assist in the design and improvement of credit risk procedures and documentation.Collaborate with stakeholders across risk, compliance, and front-office functions.Ensure alignment with regulatory expectations including SMCR and Consumer Duty obligations.
